A casual neighborhood bistro, Flamant was a close collaboration between the client and The Drawing Board, Inc. Originally a house, the building was most recently a small children's clothing store.
A centrally located kitchen, open to the two dining rooms at the opposite end creates stitches together a series of intimate dining spaces, creating a cozy, homelike atmosphere.
The Drawing Board, Inc. was selected by Pallotti HS to design a new, three-story atrium to connect two existing buildings on the campus. The project was in support of the new Pallotti Arts Academy to be located in the leftmost building.
The Drawing Board, Inc., designed a new kitchen for the new office for Beyond Definition, in Silver Spring, Maryland. In the spirit of sustainability, the existing cabinets were re-used, and much of the kitchen was left in its original location. A wall was removed, and a communal island was added as a workspace gathering place.
Completed in 2016, this home is nestled into the woods on a horse farm.
The cramped third floor of this DC rowhome was originally two bedrooms with a small bathroom. The Drawing Board, Inc., re-imagined the third floor as one large Master Suite. The old bathroom and bedroom were combined to form a larger master bathroom and walk-in closet. The second bedroom remained and was converted into the new master bedroom.
Crooked Crab Brewing Company is the the only brewery operating in Anne Arundel County. The Drawing Board partnered with Crooked Crab to design the new space over the summer of 2017.
The Drawing Board, Inc., collaborated with Timberlake Design|Build to transform a dated colonial. The detached two car garage was connected to the house with a two-story addition, complete with a kitchen remodel. The third floor attic space was transformed into a usable room with the addition of dormers.
An Annapolis institution in need of a facelift, the Drawing Board Inc., was hired in 2013 to design a renovation for the 60-year-old Taylor Avenue Shopping center.
Inspired by Graul's Market's history as a family owned-corner grocer in Baltimore, we designed a simple steel canopy system. Western Red Cedar was utilized to provide some warmth and contrast to the cold steel and brick found throughout the rest of the project.

Located in West Annapolis, Evelyn's Place provides breakfast and lunch seven days a week. The interior was designed to be a modern diner.

A renovation and addition to a split foyer home in Severna Park. A front porch was added to create a more welcoming entry. The transformation continued inside, with a new kitchen with a vaulted ceiling, leading out to a screened porch in the back yard.
