Designing for Beyond Definition, in Silver Spring, Maryland, and in the spirit of sustainability, the existing cabinets of this communal kitchen were re-used, and much of the kitchen was left in its original location. Removing a wall and adding a large communal island transformed the space into a bright and inviting area that fosters collaboration and connection.
