The Drawing Board, Inc. was hired to renovate the 60-year-old Taylor Avenue Shopping Center, an Annapolis landmark in need of an update. Drawing inspiration from Graul’s Market’s roots as a family-owned corner grocer in Baltimore, the design features a simple steel canopy complemented by Western Red Cedar, adding warmth and contrast to the steel and brick elements throughout the project. The architecture balances modern materials with traditional touches, creating a timeless look that respects the site’s history while providing a fresh, inviting atmosphere.
