Somerset Kitchen Update
Client Insight
The existing kitchen, described by the client as the “ugliest kitchen in the world,” felt dark, disconnected, and underutilized. They envisioned a space that was not only functional, but one where people would naturally gather—filled with light and aligned with the character of the home.
Design Approach
We reimagined the kitchen as a light-filled sunroom, transforming it into a welcoming, livable space at the heart of the home. Large windows introduce abundant natural light, while carefully balanced proportions and classic architectural detailing create a sense of order and elegance.
The design draws from the home’s existing neoclassical language, ensuring the new space feels both timeless and seamlessly integrated—resulting in a kitchen that invites connection and everyday use.
